Liberty’s Day of Thunder
Today, Liberty had a rough day with all the arguing with the Producers and Artists. Being a CEO of a record label is not an easy job but one very rewarding career. You have goals to do, fire, hire and sometime get down and dirty with the boys; that’s including producing and sound engineering. She started as a receptionist and brought the company from the owner’s son because he didn’t want anything to do with the company. Liberty brought it for a bargain too.
Liberty has to play referee for the day because people act like they can’t handle and compromise. While she was multi-tasking and refereeing everyone, she received a call from Jack, who is about to go to surgery for his leg that he hurt at work. Like she said before he has an impeccable timing. You got to love him. She told everyone time out and give her 10 to take this call. While everyone was still arguing, she ran into her office and slams the door so hard that the pictures almost fell. Jack was like what is going on over there and if she needed him to go over and regulate for her. How sweet she thought. She wished he could but with his knee busted and all; she didn’t think it was wise.
How was she going to visit him and care for him in New Jersey and be here while everyone here acting like a fool. She finished her conversation with him and hanged up. She sat at her desk and started thinking about the whole situation. Jack needed her there but so does her company. Now what? Let’s deal with one issue that is these guys acting a fool outside. Let’s go!
Liberty had to calm everyone down and talk some sense into the artist and remind him or her that the record label is the one holding the contracts and when they say jump they say how high. She told the producers to relax and let her do all the approvals if necessary. One situation handled now it’s time to deal with Jack.
